The Kidmin Leadership Track is for students wanting to drill deep into personal and organizational leadership. In this track, you will learn to be a highly effective leader.

KIDMIN LEADERSHIP            

If you are interested in better investing in the lives of young children, the Early Childhood Track is for you. The impact and importance of preschool ministry is often overlooked by the church and underestimated by those in a position to educate. If you’re involved in church preschool ministry, then following this elective is a steady way to prepare yourself to make the biggest impact. 

Become specifically educated on:

>> Connecting with parents

This track will inspire and challenge you to raise the importance of early childhood ministry, while being educated on the topics that make that possible.

EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT         

By its very nature, children’s ministry is challenging, but special needs ministry takes the challenge to a whole new level. Any leader familiar with teaching special needs children understands the importance of developing a unique approach and relationship with each child. It takes a great deal of effort, but it is well worth it when you can effectively connect and minister to a special needs child and family. 

In this track, learn how to:

>> Understand and accept families affected by special needs
>> Develop and expand a special needs ministry at your church
>> Include people with special needs in communities
>> Make the children’s ministry at your church special needs-friendly

This track will provide advice, answers, and help for ministering to children and families with special needs.

SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY         

Over 80% percent of churches are under 200 in weekly attendance. Leading a children’s ministry in the smaller church presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities. 

The topics in this specialty track include:

>> Making disciples in the small church
>> Bi-vocational ministry
>> Situational leadership
>> Thinking big
>> Influential small-town ministry 
>> When your vision is bigger than your budget
>> Moving people from spectators to participants

In this track, you will network with others who are walking a similar ministry journey as you are. Connect with other children’s ministry leaders who understand your ministry context.
