There is a growing interest in the current generation for a greater understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven, also referred to as the Kingdom of God (no there is no difference – my apologies to all who would like to erroneously argue that there is theologically), and some of what is taught is rather sparse, and some of what is taught is inaccurate, however because it goes unchallenged, those who hear and adhere to the teachings they have received don’t use the kind of healthy analytical reasoning skills based on the Scripture themselves to understand how to “rightly divide” the word of truth.

Out of a growing conviction that this generation needs a fresh understanding of what the Kingdom is all about, with prophetic perspective with sound teaching and reasoning from the Scriptures on the Kingdom and its implications for where we are and where we are going, this two-day course is being offered.

There are so many areas of confusion related to teaching on the Kingdom, and it is important that this generation rediscovers what the Scripture has to say about it from Genesis to Revelation, and what it meant for Jesus to preach the Kingdom because of what He came to fulfill. The great scholars from former generations on the Kingdom have been co-opted by commercialized teachings on the Kingdom that lack the substance and the authority of Scripture to back them up.

The more mature we become in Christ the more we appreciate sound doctrine. Sound doctrine on the Kingdom in this current culture is not optional it is essential, especially if we are to see the Kingdom in all its power and glory made manifest through the Church in the presence of princes and powers in the heavenly realms.

We have to be committed to doctrine; and sound doctrine at that! Believe it or not, doctrine is intended to divide and so is the Word!

The more mature you and I become the more we divide between the soulish and the spiritual, and the more we rightly divide the Word of Truth!

Maturity is where we are supposed to move on to according to the writer to the Hebrews. Our perceptive abilities are to be developed by the Spirit through interaction with the Word so that we will know how to decide what is truth and what is error. We cannot get there without sound teaching on the Kingdom.

The entire Kingdom is under the earthly governance of the Holy Spirit on behalf of the King, Christ Himself!
